Palin The Incredibles!

Governor Palin Releases Statement to Alaskans

August 29, 2008, Anchorage, Alaska – Governor Sarah Palin today released the following statement to Alaskans:

“It is the honor of my life to represent you as your Governor, and over the next two months I will continue to do so. As the mother of five, I know how to multi-task, and I will continue to promote the path of reform that we set out on together in the state of Alaska.”

“It is a great privilege to be John McCain's running mate and to be considered by the American people for the Vice Presidency. This honor is a testament to the reforms and progress we have made together in Alaska. Now is the time to take that spirit of reform to Washington.”

Noemie Emory, in the Weekly Standard, explains why the choice of Sarah Palin is a brilliant strategic move.

I believe this is a truly inspired idea. Gov. Palin ran as an anti-corruption outsider, and handily defeated a corrupt and entrenched Republican political machine. Plus, at 44, she would almost totally wipe the “age issue” McCain has off the slate, and since Obama is only two years her senior, there is no way they could attack her for her youth and inexperience: She has much more executive experience than Senator Obama has.

Not to mention the fact that, she’s a gorgeous woman who exudes mass quantities of charisma…

Palin Pics

Some amazing pictures of Gov. Palin have been posted recently on her official website. I thought I would share some of them with you, as I beleive they illustrate how effective she could be on the campaign trail and as a spokeswoman for America. I particularly love the ones of the Governor visiting our troops, I couldn't help but get the eerie feeling that they were beamed back from the future and I was watching Vice-President Palin boosting morale on a trip to Iraq.
