At the American Thinker, investigative reporter Jack Cashell(more analysis) has proposed a theory that English Professor and Domestic Weathermen Underground Terrorist William Ayers served as a Ghost writer for long time associate and fellow socialist Barack 0bama's first book "Dreams from My Father".  Cashell has performed a literary post-mortem on 0bama's book and has written a fascinating exegesis.  Yet one more intimate association with this unrepentent radical who got away with bombing the Pentagon and Capital building among other acts of terrorism!

I bought Bill Ayers' 2001 memoir, Fugitive Days, for reasons unrelated to this project.  As I discovered, he writes surprisingly well and very much like "Obama."  In fact, my first thought was that the two may have shared the same ghostwriter.  Unlike Dreams, however, where the high style is intermittent, Fugitive Days is infused with the authorial voice in every sentence. What is more, when Ayers speaks, even off the cuff, he uses a cadence and vocabulary consistent with his memoir.  One does not hear any of Dreams in Obama's casual speech.

Obama's memoir was published in June 1995.  Earlier that year, Ayers helped Obama, then a junior lawyer at a minor law firm, get appointed chairman of the multi-million dollar Chicago Annenberg Challenge grant.  In the fall of that same year, 1995, Ayers and his wife, Weatherwoman Bernardine Dohrn, helped blaze Obama's path to political power with a fundraiser in their Chicago home.

In short, Ayers had the means, the motive, the time, the place and the literary ability to jumpstart Obama's career. And, as Ayers had to know, a lovely memoir under Obama's belt made for a much better resume than an unfulfilled contract over his head.

For simplicity sake, I will refer to the author of Dreams as "Obama."  Without question, he contributed much of the book's raw material, especially the long-winded accounting of events and conversations, polished just well enough to pass muster.  The book's fierce, succinct and tightly coiled social analysis more closely matches the style of Fugitive Days, a much tighter book.

Ayers and Obama have a good deal in common. In the way of background, both grew up in comfortable white households and have struggled to find an identity as righteous black men ever since.  Just as Obama resisted "the pure and heady breeze of privilege" to which he was exposed as a child, Ayers too resisted "white skin privilege" or at least tried to.

"I also thought I was black," says Ayers only half-jokingly. As proof of his righteousness, Ayers named his first son "Malik" after the newly Islamic Malcolm X and the second son "Zayd" after Zayd Shakur, a Black Panther killed in a shootout that claimed the life of a New Jersey State Trooper. 

Tellingly, Ayers, like Obama, began his career as a self-described "community organizer," Ayers in inner-city Cleveland, Obama in inner-city Chicago. In short, Ayers was fully capable of crawling inside Obama's head and relating in superior prose what the Dreams' author calls a "rage at the white world [that] needed no object."

Indeed, in Dreams, it is on the subject of black rage that Obama writes most eloquently.   Phrases like "full of inarticulate resentments," "unruly maleness," "unadorned insistence on respect" and "withdrawal into a smaller and smaller coil of rage" lace the book.

In Fugitive Days, "rage" rules and in high style as well.  Ayers tells of how his "rage got started" and how it evolved into an "uncontrollable rage -- fierce frenzy of fire and lava." Indeed, the Weathermen's inaugural act of mass violence was the "Days of Rage" in 1969 Chicago.

Raymond L. Burke is the former Archbishop of St. Louis were the VP Debate was held and now the prefect of the Vatican's highest Court said the American Democratic Party is coming dangerously close to becoming the "party of death" because of its unlimited support for abortion! Because the Democrat party has renewed its pro-abortion views in its platform in August, and wants taxpayers to fund abortions, the former Archbisop stated the party "At this point the Democratic Party risks transforming itself definitely into a 'party of death' because of its choices on bioethical questions.  This echos Ramesh Ponnuru who wrote in his book, "The Party of Death: The Democrats, the Media, the Courts and the Disregard for Human Life."

• He told the paper it was once "the party that helped our immigrant parents and grandparents better integrate and prosper in American society. But it is not the same anymore.
• Burke also lamented that pro-life Democratic leaders are "rare, unfortunately."
• Burke talked with the newspaper about the abortion-communion debate within the Catholic Church and said he wasn't an isolated position.
• "It was shared by Archbishop Charles J. Chaput of Denver, by Bishop Peter J. Jugis of Charlotte and by others," he said.
• "But it is true that the bishops' conference has not taken this position, leaving each bishop free to act as he believes best.
• "For my part, I always have maintained that there must be a united position in order to demonstrate the unity of the church in facing this serious question,"
• Burke said other Catholic leaders are coming to the position that pro-abortion Catholic politicians shouldn't receive communion and noted that the presence of Joe Biden on Barack Obama's ticket has contributed to that sentiment.
• The Democratic platform backs unlimited abortions paid for at taxpayer expense but also tries to moderate the party's image with support for childbirth and birth control.
  
  
• The proposed platform does just that, by promoting unqualified support for abortion and the Roe v. Wade case that ushered in 50 million abortions.
• It also includes a short phrase about a woman's ability to pay for an abortion -- meant to tout support for making taxpayers fund abortions.
• "The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay, and we oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right," the proposal says.
• The final aspect of the language hearkens to Obama's pledge to Planned Parenthood in a July 2007 speech saying his first action as president would be signing the so-called Freedom of Choice Act.
  • This Congressional bill would overturn every abortion limit nationwide from a ban on partial-birth abortions to parental notification laws.

 The media coverage of Frank’s coziness with Fannie Mae and his pro-Fannie Mae stances has been lacking. Of the eight appearances Frank made on the three broadcasts networks between Jan. 1, 2008, and Sept. 21, 2008, none of his comments dealt with the potential conflicts of interest. Only six of the appearances dealt with the economy in general and two of those appearances, including an April 6, 2008 appearance on CBS’s “60 Minutes” were about his opposition to a manned mission to Mars.

Sept. 24, 2008 (Denver) - Archbishop Chaput has approved the Archdiocese of Denver’s participation in a nationwide prayer and fasting campaign called “40 Days for Life.”  He encourages all Catholics to unite their prayers with other participants, living in over 170 cities throughout the country.

The 40 days of prayer will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 24 and end Sunday, Nov. 2. Specifically, prayer is to focus on all elected officials, and their commitment to protect and defend all human life, particularly the life of the unborn.

There are three parts to the prayer campaign: a Novena prayer (click here to download), various periods of fasting throughout the 40 days and peaceful prayerful witness at the Planned Parenthood Clinic at 7155 East 38th Avenue in Denver.

Two dozen parishes in the Archdiocese of Denver have committed to formal involvement in the campaign, in addition to Catholic organizations such as Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women (ENDOW), Archdiocesan Catholic Homeshoolers and schools such as Regis University and Machebeuf High School.

I knew a little about Fannie Mae before but because I've bought property before.  However because of my desire to be a competent Blogger and Talk Radio I've learned so much.  This Financial Crisis is due mostly to the fact that Clinton put the Jimma Carter Era Community Re-Investment Act on Steroids!  Barney Franks and Chris Dodd should be impeached as they continue to claim that Fannie Mae has nothing to do with this Crisis. Raines, Johnson, Gorelick(Millionaire Civil Servant who was involved in 911 WTC and this Economic One!)  McCain should be hammering the Dems on this one!  He fears they come back at him with Keating 5 issue of the 80's is my guess.

The Democrats are insidiously turning our Capitalistic System into a Socialist One.  All the people who are high risk for Mortgages are in homes Thanks to the Fact that Franks, Dodd, Clinton have pushed for this.  A Bailout will occur in a another decade or 2. 

This reminds me of the Medicare Drug Program which is unnecessary,  Remember the Democrat lead State Children's Health Insurance Program, or SCHIP which would cover the Middle Class and College Students.

Social Security is on the verge of Collapse and the Feds will come to the rescue with a new bigger SSA type program.

Socialism by Creep is what is taking Place. Home Mortgages are not and forever backed by the FEDS.  Health-Care and Drugs backed by the Feds expanded during each Administration.  Education is basically funded by the FEDS. Wall Street is headed towards Welfare too. Our Capitalistic System like a Caterpillar is turning into a Moth which will destroy industry and our economy like it destroys fabric!
